Hacking and fraud in the Web 3.0 field are becoming more sophisticated every year, and in 2022 it will increase by 289% compared to the previous year. Up-and-coming players will prevent damage before it happens and bring about a safe Web 3.0.

The Web 3.0 field is premised on individuals managing assets. In particular, in terms of cryptocurrencies alone, 2022 saw the highest level of hacking and fraud incidents ever due to the increase in the number of users.

Given this background, the importance and demand for the security field is expected to increase further.

KEKKAI, founded in January 2023, is a Web 3.0-related security company that provides API services such as NFT fraud detection and trading simulation.

In addition to being selected for Microsoft's startup support program, the company has already completed a 50 million yen fundraising round shortly after launch, and is becoming a prominent presence.

Representative Toma came to Japan after graduating from high school and has already launched two companies. We asked him about the current situation and challenges in the security field.
