For those who have studied business administration since their student days in order to become an accountant, but for those who have been forced into the role of accountant after entering the workforce, thinking "I should be able to do it because I graduated from the Faculty of Economics," and who have prepared their financial statements without any prior experience, there are probably few who truly understand why financial statements are prepared in the first place and what the meaning of adding up the numbers is.
