Please tell us your thoughts on the outlook for the Web 3.0 field in 2025.
Hirata Roi (hereinafter, Roi): "What is Web 3.0 anyway?" I think 2025 will be a year to re-examine that. Blockchain technology is a tool, and Web 3.0 is a new form of the Internet that this tool creates. With blockchains with good performance that can withstand practical use appearing on the market, I think this will be a year in which how to use blockchains, that is, use cases, will be more important than ever before, rather than performance.
The major upgrade "Avalanche 9000" has made it easier than ever for developers to launch projects using Avalanche. What impact will this have on Avalanche, and what do you think will happen in the future?
Roi: Avalanche 9000 is a major update that incorporates various elements related to mass adoption. The infrastructure actively responds to important needs of businesses and users, such as the independence of unique Layer 1 blockchains that can be launched with Avalanche, changes to node requirements so that they can be actively used by enterprises and governments, and reducing gas fees to roughly 1/100 of those of public chains.
