What are your thoughts on the outlook for the Web3.0 field in 2025?
Mizuoka Shun (hereinafter Mizuoka): I think this will be a year in which the “Web3.0 x AI Agent Project” will see interesting developments. I have the impression that many of the traditional Web3.0 and token projects are simply following trends. I think this year will be a year in which two projects will gain momentum: projects that combine essential Web3.0 and AI, and Web3.0 projects that follow the AI trend.
What exactly are the “essential Web3.0 x AI project” and the “Web 3.0 project following the AI trend”?
Mizuoka: First of all, regarding the “Web3.0 project following the AI trend,” incentives will be absolutely necessary to spread AI agents to the world in the future. For this reason, I understand that tokenization of AI agents themselves will progress, but I believe that such projects are already reaching saturation in the market.
On the other hand, in the "essential Web3.0 x AI project," we think that, for example, joint ownership of AI agents that take advantage of the decentralized nature of Web3.0 would be an appropriate example.
Among these, we are particularly focusing on the area of "personalizing AI" by linking personal data and life log data to AI agents. This is also the essential part of the "Web3.0 x AI agent" that we are looking at. The current Web3.0 field is in a state of high speculation, as exemplified by meme coins, but we are facing Web3.0 by focusing on information assets held by users, such as personal data.
Please tell us about the features of "Login3.0," the individual sovereign login platform developed by UPBOND, and the background to its development.
Mizuoka: We are working on Web3.0 not from a speculative perspective, but because we are attracted to the world in which users themselves own assets and data. However, even if you can store data and assets in a wallet, if it does not have utility, it is difficult to generate motivation to use it. Under the theme of "Social implementation of Web 3.0," we have been facing Web 3.0 and have arrived at this project, "Login 3.0."
