[NEWS] Coincheck announces first "Coincheck INO" project, selling NFTs for games in development by Drecom and others

On the 23rd, domestic cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck announced that it will begin offering "Coincheck INO", which will handle the first NFT collection for sale.

In conjunction with this, the first project was also announced. The NFT collection will be available for use in "Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC -", a game jointly developed by Drecom, which develops blockchain games such as "GGGGG", and Thuringham, which develops blockchain games.

The title is a blockchain game that uses the IP of "Wizardry", owned by Drecom. It is characterized by a game system that combines a simple and easy-to-play clicker game with the strategic play style of an RPG.

This NFT collection will be sold as "Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC - Adventurer Genesis Collection", and applications for "AL (Arrow List)", which will allow participants in the initial sale, are scheduled to begin on the 30th of this month.

AL refers to the right to participate in presales earlier than general sales, as well as the right to purchase NFTs at a lower price than usual. The AL adopted by Coincheck INO this time will be the right to purchase NFTs on a first-come, first-served basis on Coincheck NFT during the sales period.

Applications will close on the 4th of next month, and the lottery results will be announced on the 5th. After that, AL winners will be able to purchase NFTs on a first-come, first-served basis from the 6th, and the sale is scheduled to end on the 8th.

After the sale ends, there will be restrictions on the release of purchased NFTs. During the restriction period, they will not be able to be listed or sold secondary on Coincheck NFT or other NFT marketplaces. The company says it will announce the lifting of the restrictions on its official SNS accounts.

The number of NFTs sold on Coincheck INO this time will be 100, and the planned selling price will be between 0.2ETH and 0.27ETH. This price will be a 20% discount price exclusive to Coincheck INO. According to the announcement, the maximum number of NFTs that can be issued will be 10,000.

The NFTs on sale will allow users to play the pre-release version of "Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC -" and will also have the utility of being able to acquire the game token BC token (Blood Crysta) prior to the token issuance.

BC tokens are game tokens that can be used to purchase and strengthen in-game items. The company plans to expand the game and game-related areas in the future, and will continue to consider utility in the game's media mix development from time to time.

Coincheck NFT is an NFT marketplace provided by Coincheck, whose beta version was released in 2021.
