The Blockchain Promotion Association (BCCC, represented by Yoichiro Hirano) announced on the 12th the establishment of a new 'Tax Subcommittee' to explore tax issues associated with the use of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and DeFi (Decentralized Finance).
The subcommittee will hold a kickoff event in Tokyo on September 15. Moving forward, it plans to organize regular study sessions and research international tax trends, with the aim of compiling policy recommendations for tax authorities.
