[NEWS] Hashport sponsors "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" at Osaka-Kansai Expo

HashPort, which handles Web 3.0-related consulting, etc., announced on the 18th that it will sponsor the "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" to be provided at the 2025 World Expo (Osaka-Kansai Expo).

The "EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet" is a unique wallet service for the Osaka-Kansai Expo that aims to help promote cashless transactions in Japan.

As a financial service, it will provide benefits such as "unique electronic money," "unique points," and original NFTs based on EXPO status according to wallet service usage.

HashPort will be responsible for collaboration with various pavilions and external companies that contribute to the creation of momentum for the Expo as a business collaboration service using Seoul Bound Tokens (SBT) and Web 3.0 wallets.

▶ Services sponsored and provided by HashPort

The platform will be the blockchain network Palette Chain developed by HashPalette, a subsidiary of HashPort.

HashPort will provide the following four points.

• EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet: A mobile app that will be a gateway to the various financial services unique to the Osaka-Kansai Expo, including electronic money, points, status services, and NFTs, provided by other sponsoring financial institutions (Android/iOS versions are expected to be available).
• Wallet ID platform: An ID platform that allows users to register and log in to each of the financial services unique to the Osaka-Kansai Expo and associated services with a single ID.
• SBT Digital Passport: Using SBT, users can participate in EXPO 2025 as a pavilion or momentum-building partner. A platform for digital wallets to work together (Palette Chain is assumed to be the main chain to be used)
• Web 3.0 wallet: A wallet for storing NFTs issued through SBT, pavilion collaboration, and external business collaboration (Palette Chain is assumed to be the main chain to be used)

Regarding this sponsorship, Hashport stated, "We will bring together the technological capabilities of Hashport, which has been working in the blockchain field since 2018, and its wholly owned subsidiaries Hashpalette and HashBank, to provide a seamless Web 3.0 experience both inside and outside the venue to the 28.2 million expected visitors to the Osaka-Kansai Expo."
