The first training camp audition for the final stage will be held from the 5th to the 10th, and the results will be announced on the 26th or 27th of this month. It is said that this final stage may be held multiple times.
At the moment, the names of those who have advanced to the final stage are written as nicknames, with the youngest being 12 years old and the oldest being 25 years old.
The oldest member, Ayachan, commented at the press conference, "I'm really happy to be able to stand here. I'll do my best." In addition, the youngest member, Vanilla, also expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I'm very nervous, but I'll do my best in my own way."
Also, at the press conference, Yoshihito Sato, CEO of Overs, said, "We want to provide dreams, hope, and empathy through IDOL3.0 PROJECT."
According to Sato, the group is expected to have 9-11 members in the end, and they aim to decide on the members in early October. After that, they plan to debut within the year.
The debut song is planned to be "Ganzasu Sniper," and the dance choreographer will be TAKAHIRO, and the music video will be directed by video director Kazuma Ikeda.
In addition, the auditions will be filmed as a documentary. It was also revealed that the video will be directed by film director Eiki Takahashi.
The vision of IDOL3.0 PROJECT is "an idol group that is not bound by traditional idol images, areas of activity, or group management, but is updated to meet the changing times and needs." Yasushi Akimoto, who has worked on AKB48 and Nogizaka46, was appointed as the general producer, attracting attention.
The project will use the cryptocurrency "Nippon Idol Token (NIDT)" issued by Overs and conducted an IEO on domestic cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbook and DMM Bitcoin as a utility token.
Fans will be able to support the idols' activities through NIDT. NIDT holders will also be given special benefits such as invitations to exclusive events and NFTs.
In fact, the members who will debut will be decided by a vote of about 5,000 users who acquired NIDT in the IEO.
The project also plans to have activities in the metaverse, but according to Sato, it is expected to start with real-life interactions with fans.
