On the 1st, OKCoinJapan, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it will start handling Aptos (APT). The exchange plans to start handling Aptos later this month. If this happens, it will be the first in Japan to handle Aptos.
In addition, the handling of Aptos will bring the number of stocks handled by OKCoinJapan to 36. In addition to depositing and withdrawing Aptos, the planned services include sales and savings.
What is Aptos (APT)?
Aptos is a layer 1 blockchain developed by Aptos Lab, and is characterized by its high security and scalability.
In addition, it simultaneously adopts two unique consensus algorithms: PoS (Proof of Stake) and Aptos BFT (Byzantine Fault Tolerant).
Another feature is that it uses the programming language "Move" developed by Meta.
Move was originally expected to be used in Meta's planned digital currency project Diem. After Diem was stalled, the members who had been working on development gathered together and launched the company.
