[NEWS] Student web3 Union holds first blockchain ideathon "WEB3 IDEATHON for Students"

On the 23rd, the general incorporated association Student Web3 Union announced that it will hold a Web3.0 ideathon for students, "WEB3 IDEATHON for Students," from March 3rd to March 9th in Tokyo.

A.T. Kearney Inc. and Superteam Japan are listed as co-host partners, and HashPort Inc. and Sales Marker Inc. are gold sponsors. Iolite, CoinPost, IVS Crypto, and others are also participating as community and media partners. The event is sponsored by the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA).

The web3 Union pointed out that while Web3.0 technology is attracting international attention, there is a shortage of human resources in Japan who can keep up with its evolution. In order for Japan to once again demonstrate leadership in the Web3.0 field, it is essential to develop young talent that will lead the next generation, and stated that they decided to hold the event as a "gateway to success for Web3 business leaders who will lead Japan."

This event will be a forum for selected outstanding students from all over Japan to pitch their next-generation cutting-edge business ideas that they have developed with the help of mentoring seminars from professional consultants and Web 3.0 industry experts.

The event will be held from March 3rd to March 9th in a hybrid format, combining online and offline activities. On the final day, PITCH DAY, each group will make a final presentation offline to determine the winners.

Applicants for this event are university students, graduate students, and technical college students. There is a selection system for 30 participants, and participation is free.

The ideathon also offers prize money totaling 750,000 yen. Please refer to the application outline for more details.

Day 2 - Day 5 (March 4-7) Mentoring Seminar (Online)

You can receive individual guidance and seminars from A.T. Kearney consultants, former Superteam Japan mentors, and experts from Web3 companies.

Day 7 (March 9th) PITCH DAY (offline)

Each group will give a final presentation to determine the winner.
