Satsuki Katayama (Minister of Finance / Minister for Financial Services)

Satsuki Katayama, Japan’s Minister of Finance and Minister for Financial Services, has been confirmed as a speaker at TEAMZ SUMMIT 2026.

In the Takahashi Cabinet of Reiwa 7 (2025), she was appointed Minister of Finance and Minister for Financial Services, where she has led structural reforms as the minister in charge of reviewing special tax measures and subsidies. She has also served as Chair of the House of Councillors’ Budget Committee.

Yuichiro Tamaki (Leader of the Democratic Party for the People / Member of the House of Representatives)

Yuichiro Tamaki, Leader of the Democratic Party for the People, will also take the stage at TEAMZ SUMMIT.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Finance (formerly the Ministry of Finance). He later completed his studies at Harvard Kennedy School before entering politics and is currently serving his sixth term as a Member of the House of Representatives. He brings extensive administrative experience from roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Financial Services Agency, and the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau.
