Review of June and future market outlook

I'm Mari Matsushima, a cryptocurrency analyst at Monex Securities. This time, I'll be looking back at the Bitcoin market and giving an overview of the future outlook.

Bitcoin in June 2025 fluctuated wildly throughout the month, with expectations and disappointments over progress in the US-China trade negotiations, as well as the worsening situation in the Middle East. At the beginning of the month, the phone call between President Trump and President Xi Jinping and corporate buying provided support, and BTC rose to around 16 million yen.

However, after the US-China trade talks, the US indicated its intention to maintain high tariffs, which led to widespread selling in disappointment, and the conflict between President Trump and Mr. Musk also dampened investor sentiment. Subsequently, risk aversion accelerated due to Israel's attack on Iran, and the US withdrawal from the G7, the FOMC's decision to keep interest rates unchanged, and reports of the US attacking Iranian nuclear facilities all coincided, causing Bitcoin to temporarily fall below 15 million yen.

However, when President Trump announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran at the end of the month, the price rebounded sharply.
