August 2025 rate of change

Bitcoin in August 2025 was at the mercy of US economic indicators, monetary policy, and policy trends from the Trump administration, hitting a new all-time high in the first half of the month before showing signs of a correction in the latter half. At the start of the month, the July US employment statistics fell short of expectations, causing a temporary drop, but expectations of an interest rate cut provided support.

Subsequently, excessive caution eased as the US CPI (Consumer Price Index) came in as expected, and buying prevailed amid growing expectations of an interest rate cut. Support for cryptocurrency-related policies in the US also provided a tailwind, with BTC surpassing 18 million yen.
