As July 2026 draws to a close, Washington is gripped by a heavy silence and palpable impatience ahead of the August 7 summer recess. The CLARITY Act—intended to shed the light of comprehensive regulation on the cryptocurrency market and put an end to years of uncertainty—now lies stalled in the Senate’s legislative quagmire.

Despite the impressive momentum of its bipartisan passage in the House, the bill languishes, with not even a motion to begin floor debate being introduced. The hope for "clarity"—so fervently desired by the market—is rapidly losing its definition amidst political maneuvering and institutional friction.
