Bitcoin Breaks 200-Day Moving Average: Is 'Crypto Winter' Over?
目次
  1. Triggered by the Ministry of Finance's government bond buyback
  2. Short Covering and the 200MA: Aligned Signals of a Market Bottom

Triggered by the Ministry of Finance's government bond buyback

Key Takeaways

1. Breakout Above the 200-Day Moving Average (200MA)
Bitcoin broke through its 200-day moving average, surging into the $80,000 range. Triggered by an increase in the U.S. Treasury's bond buybacks, a massive wave of short covering by short-term traders betting on a decline served as the primary driver of this rally.

2. The 4-Year Cycle and Signals of a Macro Bottom
As the market anticipated the bottoming-out phase typical of Bitcoin's 4-year cycle, an unprecedented BTC sell-off by Strategy acted as a "worst-case scenario" that shook the market. Ultimately, this event became a decisive turning point, establishing a macro bottom.

3. The End of "Crypto Winter" and Future Outlook
The breakthrough of key indicators has spread the perception across the market that the crypto winter is over, prompting sidelined long-term investors to resume capital inflows. While caution against temporary fakeouts (bull traps) remains necessary, the overall environment has shifted into a phase that strongly supports upward market momentum.
