With the addition of this new stock, the number of stocks handled by BITPOINT has now reached 26.
Pepe is a cryptocurrency issued in 2023, inspired by the internet meme "PEPE the Frog." "Pepe the Frog" is an anthropomorphized frog character that appears in the book "Boys Club" by American cartoonist Matt Furie.
Pepe is a type of so-called meme coin, and is ranked 24th in market capitalization at the time of writing. Along with Dogecoin (DOGE), it has gained popularity as a representative meme coin, with a deep-rooted community forming.
Pepe also has its own deflationary mechanism, in which a portion of the token is burned for each transaction. This reduces the amount of Pepe in circulation, adjusting the balance of supply and demand.
