On the 24th, Animoca Brands Japan announced that it will be selling "Anime Traits – GHOST IN THE SHELL", an NFT based on the popular manga and anime "Ghost in the Shell", as the first in the "Anime Traits" NFT collection it produces.
Sales will begin on the 31st of this month at "SORAH by Animoca Brands Japan". Only 500 units will be available for sale. The price is 0.018 ETH and the format is ERC-721.
Anime Traits is an NFT collection developed by Animoca Brands Japan in collaboration with world-famous Japanese anime and manga. The first in the series will be the hugely popular anime "GHOST IN THE SHELL", released in 1995.
"Anime Traits – GHOST IN THE SHELL" is a one-of-a-kind work that features character parts that appear in the work, each drawn as a trait exclusive to the PFP (profile picture) of Mocaverse, CoolCats, and San Fran Tokyo.
Each pack contains one character trait set, and if you own any of the PFPs of Mocaverse, CoolCats, or San Fran Tokyo, you can enjoy PHP dress-up on the AnimeTraits site. You can also purchase the dressed-up images on the AnimeTraits site as merchandise.
In June 2022, Animoca Brands and Kodansha agreed to use Web 3.0 technology to bring manga and anime works with many enthusiastic fans around the world to the world.
As part of this initiative, in June 2022, Animoca Brands Japan, MADWORLD, and UCOLLEX announced two projects, "GHOST IN THE SHELL" and "FAIRY TAIL", at NFT.NYC in New York.
Launched in 2019, NFT.NYC is known as the world's largest NFT conference. It has played a role in connecting NFT industry leaders, influencers, developers, and fans. The event focuses on companies and individuals who are advancing blockchain adoption, as well as current mainstream applications, to advance NFT business.

In addition to these two works, Animoca Brands Japan and Kodansha have also agreed to use Web 3.0 technology to distribute "AKIRA," "Parasyte," "Sailor Moon," "Attack on Titan," and other works, and plan to release NFT collections of other popular manga and anime works in addition to the Ghost in the Shell NFT.
