On the 19th, the domestic cryptocurrency exchange CoinTrade announced that it would begin listing Slash Vision Labs (hereafter, SVL) starting the same day.
With this addition, CoinTrade will now offer 25 different cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, the staking service 'CoinTradeStake' will support staking for 15 types of cryptocurrencies.
The exchange also plans to introduce SVL to its cryptocurrency lending service 'CoinTradeLending' in the near future.
Shinsuke Sato, CEO of Slash Fintech Limited, commented in the announcement, "The listing of SVL in Japan is a significant milestone for Slash Vision Labs, which is expanding its fintech business centered on stablecoins in the Japanese market."
He noted that the domestic listing represents a long-awaited achievement, and emphasized plans to deepen collaboration with CoinTrade to expand the opportunities and utility of SVL, aiming to deliver a more convenient and valuable experience.
SVL is a governance token of the Slash ecosystem, issued on the Mantle Network based on the ERC-20 standard.
In April 2026, Slash began issuing the 'Slash Card,' the first stablecoin-backed credit card compliant with Japanese regulations, garnering attention both within and outside the industry.
Moreover, on the 17th of this month, Slash announced the discontinuation of SVL trading on Bybit and Zoomex, describing it as part of a broader strategic review aimed at the next phase of business development in Japan.
