On the 6th, DeFimans, a consulting firm specializing in the Web 3.0 field, held a meetup event "Tokyo Puff Club" with Puffpaw, a DePIN project that provides incentives to overcome nicotine addiction.
Puffpaw is the first DePIN project on Berachain, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain that uses a unique consensus algorithm called "Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL)".
The event was held to mark the launch of Puffpaw, which calls itself Vape to Earn, in Japan. The event brought together Puffpaw founders, community members, builders, and more, with over 150 participants.
The event is being held with the support of the following projects and media supporters.
At the event, a talk session was held to announce Puffpaw's future prospects. Reffo, Puffpaw's Lead of Direction, said, "Puffpaw is very happy to be able to interact with the Japanese community through events such as this one," and "In the future, Puffpaw plans to increase its lineup of products that can be used in Japan, such as IQOS and shisha, so we hope you will look forward to Puffpaw in the future."
In addition, the talk session explained real-time tracking and counterfeit prevention using encryption chips, as well as a reward design that allows users to earn more VAPE tokens the less nicotine they consume.
At the event, a lottery was held where participants could win Puffpaw's core "Puff Pass NFT" and limited whitelist access.
The Puff Pass NFT is an essential item for participating in Vape to Earn, and it is explained that it will be eligible for VAPE tokens received by vaping and airdrops in the future.
The Puff Pass NFT will also come with the following benefits.
Puff Pass NFT sold 3,500 Puff Passes in a presale to whitelist holders on the 9th of this month. This NFT sold out in four days after the presale began. Even if you are unable to purchase a Puff Pass NFT, it has been announced that there will be ways to participate in the ecosystem, such as renting vape devices (smart vapes) and trading on the secondary market.
