[NEWS] PayPay adds "Bitcoin Course" for points management, allowing users to experience virtual management

PPSC Investment Services, a subsidiary of PayPay Securities, announced on the 8th that it will add a "Bitcoin Course" to its currently offered point management service. It is scheduled to be available on the 13th of this month.

This service will be rolled out as one of the "point management" services that allows users to experience virtual management using the PayPay mini-app. The Bitcoin Course is a course that aims to link to the spot price of Bitcoin (BTC), a representative cryptocurrency. Users can easily experience virtual Bitcoin management through point management without having to open an account.

According to PPSC Investment Services, this is the first time that a major point management service provider has offered an "automatic addition function" that allows users to add points to their point management without having to operate the points they have been granted.

The company explained that the background to the launch of the Bitcoin Course was that "crypto assets, especially Bitcoin, have become even more popular" due to the US presidential election held last year, and that many users requested that the company add a new course with high volatility and high expectations for price increases.

Trading is available from 8:05 a.m. on weekdays to 6:55 a.m. the following day. Please note that transactions are not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and US holidays.

To commemorate the addition of the Bitcoin course, PPSC Investment Services will be running a campaign from the 13th of this month to March 31st. A total of 11,100 people will be drawn each month, for a total of 33,300 people over the three months, to win PayPay Points, and the first prize winner will receive PayPay points worth 100% of the points added to the Bitcoin course.

To participate in the campaign, users must have automatically added points to the Bitcoin course and keep the automatic addition setting active at the end of each month, as well as adding more than 100 points to the Bitcoin course per month.
