What do you think about the current Web 3.0 field?
Aoki Makoto (hereinafter Aoki): The phrase "The next billion users" is currently used frequently in the Web 3.0 industry. This means onboarding the next billion users to Web 3.0 products, and the question is how to naturally get users who have no knowledge of Web 3.0 to experience Web 3.0 and feel its value. I think Web 3.0 is in a transitional period in the sense of challenging social implementation, and rather than a Web 3.0 product for Web 3.0 users like in the past, I think the question is how to remove the difficulties unique to Web 3.0 and allow general users to naturally enjoy the benefits unique to Web 3.0.
One of the big attractions of Web 3.0 is that by not going through a centralized platform, service providers who provide value to the development of the platform can obtain a lot of incentives, and users who use it do not have to pay large intermediary fees.
However, as mentioned above, one of the challenges is the difficulty of the concept of wallets when interacting with Web 3.0 products, and how to change the negative impression that crypto assets and blockchains have in Japan.
