Revitalize local areas with “Lula Coin” and NFT

Enlivening Japan as a whole by promoting tourism

The creator of the regional revitalization project "Onsen Musume" has entered the Web 3.0 field. With the aim of revitalizing tourism, we will also announce a domestic IEO for Lula Token (tentative name) to accelerate the movement.

Japan has many attractive tourist destinations and attracts a large number of tourists from overseas. Inbound consumption by tourists has an extremely large effect on the Japanese economy.

Lula is promoting a business that combines Japan's strengths in tourism and Web 3.0.

Mr. Ryu Hashimoto, the instigator of the project "Onsen Musume" aimed at regional revitalization, is at the forefront of the "Lula Coin," which can be used at 30 hot spring resorts nationwide, and the "Lula Coin," which conveys the charms of tourist spots. We will carry out initiatives that utilize technologies in the Web 3.0 area, such as ``NFT''.

Web3.0×future of tourism

It has the potential for interesting growth based on the increase in the number of tourists.

Hashimoto: Convenience is important for the growth of various fields, but it is currently not found in Web 3.0. It can be said that a player who can break through this has not yet been born. When it comes to convenience, ``Web3.0 x Finance'' holds the key. In the future, I believe that the world will become more convenient with the digitalization of finance through the use of blockchain. Currently, with the revival of inbound tourism in mind, the tourism industry itself is regaining its vitality. Similar to our ``Travel Plus α'' initiative, which utilizes NFT to preserve memories, I think new styles of tourism using blockchain will emerge in the future.

It is said that if AI develops in the future, 49% of Japanese jobs will be replaced, and the number of people traveling to Japan will increase proportionately.

Furthermore, considering that the number of foreign workers will increase, there is a possibility that they will travel to tourist destinations in Japan on weekends for leisure. Considering these circumstances, I personally think that tourism and agriculture are areas that will grow.

In the past, when you went to tourist spots, you would often find items that looked like local Hello Kitty for sale, and local products were all the rage.

In the future, I think NFTs will replace the "local ○○" part. The ability to share memories from travels and the things we have done on trips with others will likely spread to NFTs as well as SNS.

We believe that the strength of our business is its utility, such as the ability to use Lula coins purchased at Arima Onsen at Kusatsu Onsen.

Currently, Lula Coin can be used at 24 locations in Japan, and I believe that leveraging this originality to promote tourism will revitalize local regions and bring excitement to Japan as a whole.

What is important in regional revitalization is that people move and the economy is revitalized.

Last year, we announced that we would issue the crypto asset Lula Token (provisional) linked to Lula Coin and conduct an IEO in Japan. We believe that the realization of a tourism token economy using Lula tokens, including IEO, will lead to further revitalization of local economies.

In the future, we plan to build an economic zone where all crypto assets, including Lula tokens, can be used to charge Lula coins and make payments at tourist destinations.

Lula Coin was intentionally released for use only at tourist spots. Furthermore, we have set an expiration date of 180 days, so it is designed to be used at travel destinations, and we are confident that increasing the total circulation of Lula Coin will lead to regional revitalization.

However, in the future, we plan to make it usable in everyday places such as convenience stores and cafes.
