One of the major factors in the evolution of human beings is the development of the frontal lobe, which controls language. The frontal lobe contributes greatly to complex human cognitive functions and social behavior, and is responsible for higher-level functions such as thinking, planning, decision-making, and self-control. It is an element that forms uniqueness.
And this development of the frontal lobe is what enables humans to use advanced language, imagine, and create, among all living creatures that can exist on Earth. On the other hand, AI will become a presence that supports the real lives of many people, and it is predicted that humanoid robots will appear in the near future. It will only be a matter of time before AI has arms and legs.
In that case, it would not be surprising if a future came where a lump of iron, which is hardly a "life" that uses a language that sounds plausible, does the same things as humans. Moreover, if that lump of iron can perform tasks with greater precision than humans, common sense will no longer be a kind of assumption that has been brewed over the course of history.
A video of AIs talking to each other became a hot topic for a while. Once the AIs recognized that the sound was coming from an AI, they began to converse with each other using voice signals to communicate more efficiently. These signals are incomprehensible to humans, so it is unclear what kind of communication took place.
If we ever reach a time when AI uses "perfect words" in the sense of efficiency, humans will likely start to use words to enjoy "inefficiency." The more noise-filled society becomes, the more likely it is that "silence" and "space" can become sources of entertainment.
Looking at these recent developments in technology, I have begun to wonder if the object of faith will shift to technology.
