Searching for the means to survive in today's complex society
In today's society, everyone lives with worries. Around the world, mentally ill conflicts continue, while domestically, the yen continues to weaken and rapid price increases are making life difficult.
In addition, people are burdened with a lot of stress and worries in their daily lives and in business. We live in a world where the problems of individuals and society are intricately intertwined, and it is by no means easy to decide what to do.
For this reason, knowing the background to the problems occurring around the world and understanding the key issues will provide us with the strength to live for tomorrow.
1. Three worlds - Survival: wisely surviving in capitalism, virtualism, and sharing
We live in a modern society divided into three worlds.
[Review]
The three worlds are capitalism, where people are driven by money; virtual reality, where digital data runs through networks; and republican, where people live together in harmony with the rhythm of nature. Each of these has different concepts, institutions, and economic systems, forming a different worldview.
And as we live across these three worlds, we need to learn how to live and earn in a way that suits each world.
This book explains various issues occurring in modern society through the three worlds, such as the phenomenon of IT tycoons acquiring huge wealth overnight, the low wages of childcare workers and caregivers, and society's distrust of NFTs, and cultivates a broad perspective to increase the resolution of the world.

2. Introduction to Web3 Development for Engineers: Blockchain Web Application Development using Ethereum, NFTs, and DAOs
An introductory book on Web 3.0 application development
[Review]
This book introduces the necessary knowledge and know-how from a developer's perspective so that even those with zero knowledge of blockchain can build Web 3.0 applications using NFTs, DAOs, etc. All three authors are affiliated with Deloitte Tohmatsu and are involved in blockchain business.
One of the reasons why Web 3.0 is considered difficult to understand is that it requires not only knowledge of blockchain, but also knowledge of conventional web systems in general, as well as knowledge of wallet handling and Web 3.0 business, but this book provides a comprehensive explanation of these.
In addition, this book features a wealth of source code, allowing you to learn while actually running the application. However, please note that a certain level of knowledge of programming and conventional Web 3.0 systems is required as a prerequisite.

3. Kenichi Ohmae: Japan Issues 2024 - 2025
A standard book to learn about today's Japan
【Review】
Kenichi Ohmae, a doctor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and known for his career as president of McKinsey Japan, provides a wide-ranging explanation of various issues and problems in modern Japan.
The 2024-2025 edition covers a wide range of issues, from political and economic issues such as Japan's monetary policy, measures to combat the declining birthrate, the invoice system, and the collapse of nursing care, to the latest topics such as ChatGPT, and issues with overseas countries such as the Ukraine war and the Japan-US alliance.
However, since the themes covered as issues are based on the author's interests, they do not comprehensively cover Japan's issues, but rather focus on political economy and issues of interest to the senior generation.
The content is aimed at people who are interested in the author's way of thinking and excellent observational skills, rather than those who want to know the issues of Japan comprehensively.

4. Sales DX to realize an infinite loop of increased sales
Learn effective DX implementation methods starting from "sales"
【Review】
This book promotes sales reform through DX (digital transformation), from customer acquisition to after-sales support.
The author, Kazuhiro Nagao, is the CEO of NI Consulting Co., Ltd. and a small and medium-sized enterprise consultant. There are many books on DX in business, but this book is particularly interesting, starting from sales activities and going into effective DX implementation methods and management reforms that can be achieved through it.
Since it describes many DX cases that can be implemented immediately, such as "measures to dramatically increase the number of inquiries on the website" and "What kind of content should small and medium-sized enterprises post on SNS?" along with the sales process, it is a must-read for those who are worried about "wanting to advance DX but not knowing what to do".
