CME Enters Tokenization

On the 25th, CME Group and Google Cloud announced an innovative joint project in financial services. The two companies have begun a pilot project for a new solution for wholesale settlement and asset tokenization called Google Cloud Universal Ledger.

Google Cloud Universal Ledger is a private blockchain that financial institutions can easily integrate. It simplifies account and asset management for traditional financial systems and enables transactions on a private, permissioned network.
