Ethereum's Pectra upgrade completes final testing on Hoodi

Hoodi completes final test of "Pektra"

Ethereum (ETH) developers successfully completed the final testing of the Pectra upgrade on the newly launched Hoodi testnet on the 26th. The testing was conducted following issues with the previous Sepolia and Holesky testnets, and marked an important step towards the mainnet launch.

The main feature of the Pectra upgrade is improved functionality for users, such as allowing payment of transaction fees with tokens other than ETH. The developer team plans to launch the upgrade on the Ethereum mainnet within 30 days, unless significant issues are found.
