gumi's new shareholder perks include a lottery to award 16 million yen in Bitcoin

Gumi, a listed game developer in Japan, announced its shareholder benefits program for the fiscal year ending April 2025 on the 26th. In partnership with SBI VC Trade, the company revealed a groundbreaking initiative to give away a total of 16 million yen worth of Bitcoin to shareholders through a lottery.

Eligible shareholders are shareholders who hold 500 or more shares as of the end of April 2025, and the lottery is divided into three stages. Thirty people will receive 100,000 yen worth of Bitcoin, 100 people will receive 30,000 yen worth of Bitcoin, and 1,000 people will receive 10,000 yen worth of Bitcoin. The actual number of Bitcoins to be given will be determined based on the selling price of SBI VC Trade as of August 15, 2025.
