Ripple partners with African payments company Chipper Cash

Expanding payment business in Africa

On the 27th, Ripple announced that it has signed a partnership with African payment company Chipper Cash.

The purpose of the partnership is to introduce Ripple Payments, a payment solution that utilizes crypto assets (virtual currencies), to improve the speed and cost efficiency of international remittances in Africa. Ripple explained that this partnership will expand its African payment business, which began with a partnership with payment company Onafriq in 2023.
