On the 1st, cryptocurrency exchange Backpack began the process of returning euros (EUR) to customers of the bankrupt European division of FTX, FTX EU.

FTX has already begun returning cash, and some are of the opinion that this may lead to buying pressure on cryptocurrencies. Backpack explained that it has only begun the identity verification process this time, and that withdrawals will be possible soon after that. It also said that all returns will be made in euros.
