HBAR Foundation Expresses Interest in Acquiring TikTok

The HBAR Foundation, which supports the cryptocurrency Hedera (HBAR), is reportedly participating in a bid to acquire the video app TikTok in collaboration with Zoop, a startup founded by the creator of OnlyFans. Reuters reported this on April 3rd.

RJ Phillips, co-founder and co-CEO of Zoop alongside Mr. Stokely, explained the purpose of the acquisition as follows:

“Our bid for TikTok is not just about a change in ownership. It's about creating a new paradigm where both creators and their communities can directly benefit from the value they generate...
