Coinbase Derivatives

Coinbase Derivatives, a US cryptocurrency exchange, has applied to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to list two new futures products, XRP Futures and Nano XRP Futures. According to the application filed on the 3rd, both contracts will be cash-settled and will be indexed to the Market Vectors Coinbase XRP Index. The standard XRP futures contract will be for 10,000 XRP, while the nano version will be for 500 XRP.

Following a self-certification application, both contracts are expected to begin trading after April 21. Coinbase Institutional announced in a post on X on the 4th that it will list the XRP futures contracts on April 21...
