Lawyer sues US government over whether records related to "Satoshi Nakamoto" exist

Cryptocurrency lawyer James Murphy has filed a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) alleging that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) knows the identity of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. Murphy filed the lawsuit in federal district court on April 7, seeking DHS disclosure of documents related to Nakamoto's identity.
