On April 10, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 90-day suspension of the global "reciprocal tariffs" initiative, triggering a sharp rebound in financial markets. In a social media post, Trump explained that more than 75 countries had refrained from retaliatory measures and requested negotiations to resolve trade issues. In response, he approved a temporary suspension of tariffs on these nations and lowered the uniform tariff rate to 10%.

However, he took a tougher stance on China, raising tariffs from the previous 104% to 125%.
