U.S.-listed leveraged XRP ETF surpasses ¥700 million in trading volume on its first day.

XRP Reclaims the $2 Mark

On April 10, the cryptocurrency XRP surged 13%, reclaiming the $2 level. The rally appears to have been fueled by two key factors: the successful launch of the 2x leveraged ETF "XXRP" on NYSE Arca, and U.S. President Donald Trump's unexpected announcement of a 90-day suspension of tariffs.

The XXRP ETF, which amplifies XRP’s daily returns by 2x, was listed on April 8 U.S. time (evening of April 9 in Japan). At the time of listing, XRP had been trading around $1.70, down approximately 7% over the previous 24 hours. Despite that initial weakness, the ETF saw strong investor interest, contributing to the subsequent price surge.
