U.S.-based Block Releases Open-Source Tools for Bitcoin Treasury Strategy

Supporting Corporate Bitcoin Holdings

On April 9, Block Inc., the financial technology company led by Twitter (now X) co-founder Jack Dorsey, released a set of open-source tools for managing Bitcoin (BTC) treasuries.

The initiative is aimed at lowering the operational barriers for companies looking to hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. The tools include a dashboard optimized for corporate BTC holdings and a real-time pricing API for BTC-to-USD conversions, helping businesses more efficiently manage their crypto assets.

The tools are publicly available through the Block Open Source GitHub repository, aligning with the company’s commitment to transparency and broader Bitcoin adoption in the corporate sector.
