US SEC to drop lawsuit against Solana-based communications company DePIN Helium

Nova Labs agrees to drop lawsuit

Helium, a decentralized wireless communication network based on Solana (SOL), announced on the 11th that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has agreed to formally dismiss its lawsuit against developer Nova Labs. This will allow the project to focus on future development.

In January, the SEC sued Nova Labs, deeming the three tokens HNT, MOBILE, and IoT to be unregistered securities. Helium believes that the dismissal means that the company has determined that these tokens are not considered securities.
