14 overseas cryptocurrency exchanges blocked from Apple stores in South Korea

On April 14, the Korean Financial Institutions (FIU) announced that Apple, at the request of the FIU, had blocked domestic access to the apps of 14 overseas virtual currency exchanges not registered in Korea from April 11. This measure meant that apps from unregistered companies, including platforms such as KuCoin and MEXC, could not be newly installed or updated in the Korean App Store.
