On the 18th, a16z Crypto, a subsidiary of major venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), announced that it had invested an additional $55 million (approximately 8 billion yen) in the native token (ZRO) of cross-chain infrastructure LayerZero.

Ali Yahya, general partner of the company, commented on social media, "Our global financial system is evolving, and it's great to see the development of protocols that move many new businesses and complex workflows on-chain."
