Adjusting ASTR’s tokenomics

On the 18th, ASTR, a Web3 project from Japan, announced that it has updated its tokenomics after governance approval.

The update explains that staking rewards are now more closely linked to actual network usage, reducing unnecessary issuance and stabilizing APR (annual percentage rate). ASTR also states that this change is an important step toward realizing ASTR's goal of a "sustainable and responsive token economy."

What is tokenomics?

The economic design and mechanism of a specific virtual currency. Specifically, it is a set of rules that govern the use, supply, initial issuance, etc.
