On April 21, US company Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) announced that it had purchased an additional 6,556 BTC of the virtual currency Bitcoin (BTC). The purchase amounted to approximately 78.3 billion yen, nearly double the previous week's 41 billion yen.

The average purchase price this time was $84,785, and the company's BTC holdings reached 538,200.

The total cost of Bitcoin purchases to date has exceeded 5.14 trillion yen (approximately 36.4 billion yen), with the overall average purchase price being $67,766.

The company continues to purchase Bitcoin despite concerns about the risk of forced sales.
