Over 70 mass applications

The new SEC Chairman Paul Atkins will be reviewing more than 70 cryptocurrency ETF applications when he takes office. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the SEC currently has 72 cryptocurrency-related ETFs (mostly physical ETFs) waiting for approval. These include a wide variety of stocks and products, including major L1 stocks such as XRP, Litecoin, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), as well as Penguin, a 2x leveraged version of the Melania Trump-related meme coin.

Atkins officially took office as SEC Chairman on the 22nd.
