Vitalik proposes Ethereum could be up to 100 times more powerful

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH), announced a long-term improvement plan for Ethereum on the 20th.

The purpose of the improvement plan is to significantly improve the efficiency of the "execution layer" that processes transactions. It also simplifies the execution layer, solving one of the main problems that hinders improved scalability.
