On the 23rd, a new bitcoin investment company, Twenty One Capital, Inc. (21 Capital), announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to merge with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Cantor Equity Partners, Inc. (Cantor Equity Partners). The company is backed by SoftBank Group and Tether and is expected to start operations with over 42,000 bitcoins (BTC), making it the third largest bitcoin holder in the world at present.
