Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff (Democrat) criticized President Donald Trump's planning of a dinner for holders of his meme coin (TRUMP) as an "impeachable offense." At a town hall meeting on the 25th, the senator argued that "it is clearly impeachable for a sitting president to sell special access in what is essentially a direct payment to himself," drawing a strong response from his supporters.
