Trump Administration Official Hines Commits to Building Bitcoin Reserve

"Bitcoin is the same as gold"

Beau Hines, executive director of President Trump's Digital Asset Working Group, expressed a strong commitment to building a US Bitcoin (BTC) reserve in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine on April 29th. He described the race between countries to acquire Bitcoin as "analogous to the space race" and emphasized that it is "similar to gold."

Hines has previously stated that "the US government wants to acquire as much Bitcoin as possible," and in his latest remarks, he said he is "very confident" that leaders of the Treasury and Commerce Departments will come up with "very creative" ways to accumulate Bitcoin. ...
