WorldCoin's Major Announcement

On the 1st, World (formerly World Coin), an identity verification AI and cryptocurrency project launched by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, announced that it has partnered with Match Group, the parent company of the popular dating app Tinder, to launch an early pilot program in the Japanese market. This partnership will allow Japanese Tinder users to verify whether the other person is a real person, which is expected to provide a safer and more reliable matching experience.

World claims to be a "true human network" and currently has about 26 million World App users, of which about 1,000,000 are registered users.
