Divides in bipartisan efforts

On the 6th, several Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Maxine Waters, protested President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency-related business and boycotted a hearing on a cryptocurrency-related bill.

The hearing, titled "American Innovation and the Future of Digital Assets: A 21st Century Blueprint," was held by both the House Financial Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee to discuss a draft on the market structure of cryptocurrencies.

As soon as the hearing began, Rep. Waters stood up and objected, claiming that she did not agree to the meeting. She gave no reasons for her opposition...
