Bhutan Introduces Binance Pay for National Tourism Payments

Cryptocurrency Use Enabled for Travel

The cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, announced on the 7th that the Kingdom of Bhutan has implemented its payment solution, 'Binance Pay', as the payment system for its tourism industry.

Binance claims this to be the world's first instance of a national tourism industry payment system supporting cryptocurrencies. Users with a Binance account can now use digital assets to pay for airfares, accommodation, retail purchases, and more during their trips to Bhutan.

This implementation of Binance Pay involves a collaboration with the 'DK Bank', a digital bank holding a business license in Bhutan...
