Brazilian Securities Exchange B3 to Launch Ethereum and Solana Futures Trading in June

Offering Futures for ETH and SOL

Brazil’s Securities Exchange B3 has announced that it will begin trading futures contracts for Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) from June 16, having received approval from the securities regulatory authority CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission). These new contracts will trade in US dollar terms, with Ethereum at 0.25 ETH and Solana at 5 SOL units.

Each futures contract will reference the benchmark 'Nasdaq Ether Reference Price' and 'Nasdaq Solana Reference Price' respectively, with settlements occurring on the final Friday of every month. B3 has already been offering Bitcoin as a digital currency future since 2023...
