Bitcoin deflation accelerates, Saylor Strategy's BTC buying spree may be the cause

Absorb all mining numbers

On the 10th, Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, said that Strategy's aggressive purchases of Bitcoin (BTC) are absorbing market supply and accelerating deflationary pressure. He pointed out that Strategy's sustained large-scale purchases have caused Bitcoin to have an annual deflation rate of -2.23% (number of purchases > number of mined), and that this trend will accelerate further with the influence of institutional investors.

Strategy's recent purchases have far exceeded the new mining supply (450 BTC/day) with a purchase rate of about 2,087 BTC per day, bringing Bitcoin's supply cap of 21 million BTC to the market...
